I'm not sure what you're seeing on PayPal (maybe a screenshot would help) but the amount definitely is passed on to paypal, and the user has to approve how much they will pay before the transaction goes through.

I have another concern. The amount to be paid by the guest who wish to reserve seats is not passed on to the Paypal payment page. Only after the payment has been made will the guest be redirected to the website and will be able to see the amount paid.

Is there a way to correct this? Thanks!

I found the solution to the problem. It is related to the API_endpoint in the paypa_constants.php file. Here are the correct URLs:

Hi David! I am having a similar error with Seth but it is slightly different. The error is as follows:

Ack: Failure Correlation ID: 9ed08e0c92546 Version: 3.0 Error Number: 10002 Short Message: Security error Long Message: Security header is not valid

My Paypal configuration file is configured properly (it has the "ok" in green) and I saved the paypal_constants.php file outside of web root so it is not accessible publicly.

Please advise. Thanks!

apparently the code example was change when posted... Also, I would like to change the number of events displayed before we get the "More Events" I believe the number is set to 10, I would like to change it to 20

Great plugin David!Is there anyway to combine shortcut codes? I need a event listing for a specified event type. Something like....[event_listing format="headline" type="featured"]as a hack I modified the output of [rsvpmaker_upcoming type="featured"] in rsvpmaker-display.php to only display the post title but I cant figure out how to add the event dates to the end. First off, this plugin is exactly what we needed for our organization. Great work!

I have two questions.
1. how might I add the text "When" in italics so it appears before the date/time on any particular event?2. I will not be using the ChimpBlast feature as it doesn't suit my purpose. Is there any way to remove "Your Answer: Yes No" from the event selections considering that I will only be collecting information for people who attend an event?

No easy way. RSVPMaker uses WordPress custom post types, and the name of the post type is used in the url as a way of distinguishing between rsvpmaker events and regular posts.

Is there a way to change the event url page so it doesn't have /rsvpmaker/ in it, but instead is a sub-page of the page I put [rsvpmaker_upcoming] on?

RSVPMaker doesn't set the font color, unless I'm missing something in my own code. If the event text is showing up a different color than your other posts, you'll have to dig into the CSS for your theme to figure out why.

I'm new to using WordPress and your RSVPMaker plugin and I am having a problem with the CAPTCHA security check. If I remove this option the RSVP works fine, but when trying to use the CAPTCHA the RSVP always come back with "incorrect security code entered". Is there a setting I need to change on the plug-in or WordPress to make the CAPTCHA work?
